Introducing the First CAS-tastic Wednesday DT

Good morning everyone! I was absolutely thrilled with the response I received for our first DT call. There were some many AMAZING applicants and it was so hard to choose.

So without further ado...Meet the CAS-tastic Wednesday DT

Agata Pfister
Hi ! My name is Agata. I’m Polish living in Switzerland from the day I got married to a great (and very handsome ;-) )guy! We now have two cute kids, a boy of 3 and a girl of 1 year. They keep us quite busy!

I was always interested in crafting. I tried cross-stitch, Handanger, ribbon stitching, beading etc. I started scrapbooking in Autumn 2006, soon after I discovered Clean & Simple and fell in love! But also I realized that it’s not as simple as it looks so I keep on trying… ;-) I love clean and crisp designs without too many elements. For me the most important thing is the story and the picture that goes with it.

Last year I got interested in stamping and soon was hooked! I love making cards and cannot imagine a card without a stamp today! I am very happy to join this design team and am looking forward to new CAS-tastic adventures!

Barbara Anders
I live in South Central Virginia with my husband and best friend and our nine (yes, 9) rescue cats. I’m a registered nurse, currently working as a nurse manager for a home health agency. I’ve always been a crafter–I can’t remember not either doing some sort of needlework or craft, even as a child, and was inspired by both of my parents to be creative with my hands. I also love to garden and read and look forward to the day I can retire–I don’t have enough time now to do all the “fun” things I want to do.

I got into stamping in a round-about way. I started a small scrapbook about five years ago for an annual event we hosted and never expected to go much further with it. But while looking online for inspiration for layouts, I ran across blogs with cards and other paper crafts. I’d never done that and it looked like fun so I bought some stamps and supplies at a craft store and made some simple cards. Then I found a Stampin’ Up demonstrator who taught me a lot and the rest, as they say, is history–I was totally hooked. I found Splitcoast Stampers and studied all the galleries, learning from every card I saw and never looked back. I love all styles of card making and, while I love lots of layers and embellishments, I've also developed an appreciation of CAS. I'm looking forward to sharing lots of CAS creations with CAS-tastic Wednesdays!

Bonnie Rose Kempenich
Hi there everyone! I'm Bonnie Rose and I've been scrap-booking for almost 18 years and started dabbling in card design about two years ago! I love it! I love rubber-stamping, I just wish I had my own money tree to buy all the fabulous stamps that are available out there by so many great companies, not to mention the great stickers that can be used for card-making too!

I survived a bitter divorce about 8 years ago, and I am a noncustodial mom to my two daughters, Sara(17) and Bethany(almost 16). They live about 3 hours away from us. We see them often though and my times with them are oh so precious to me. I remarried in 2004 and live in the flat plains of Fargo ND with my hubby Greg and our cute dog, Angel. I work part-time till noon most weekdays. The rest of my time is spent creating in my Studio and enjoying fresh flowers.

I'm a writer at heart, love blogging, and being real. I am a believer in real mail. These days, not enough people take the time to send a real paper card to someone. I believe every one deserves to receive a beautiful handmade card they can hold in their hands and admire. Come visit me at my blog here, http://alifeunrehearsed2.blogspot.com - I'd love you to say hello!

Deb Neerman
I live in beautiful West Palm Beach, FL with my patient DH and two Persian fur-babies.

I've been paper crafting and rubber stamping nearly my entire life and have been almost exclusively card-making for the past 8 years. My style could best be described as "clean and simple with a vintage flair." I am a founding member of ZNE, a mixed media artist collective and have sold my altered art, collage, assemblages, vintage-inspired paper bag albums on eBay for over seven years.

In addition to designing for the CAS-tastic Challenge Blog, I currently design for Sharon Johnson's "Stamp Simply" challenge

Karen Baker

I'm a graphic designer by trade, wife, mama to two energetic, young boys and always a crafter at heart. I like to expand my boundaries by experimenting and showcasing the capabilities of each stamp set that I pick up. I'm passionate about composition and color and am an advocate of clean design in my creations. I usually have a memory or story to go along with my card so I like to include that in my posts.

Maylee Pham

My name is Maylee and I'm a native Arizonian but now live in San Jose, CA. I'm a SAHM to three kids and married to the most wonderful husband who is super supportive of my stamping and scrapbooking obsession. I started stamping over six years ago and immensely enjoy coloring line art images, it is so relaxing. Although most of my time is spent volunteering at my kids' school and driving to soccer, swimming and all things in between. When I do have a spare moment, you will find me in my craft room getting inky fingers and sticky hair. I'm delighted to be a part of the CAS-tastic Design Team!

Regina Jones
Hi I am Regina Jones I live in south AL. I am a SAHM to one very rambunctious 6 year old, Patrick, plus our fur babies, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 birds, 2 turtles and fish. Sometimes it feels like a zoo, but it leads to some great scrap pages.

I have been scrapbooking on and off since high school but really came back to it around the birth of my son in 2003. I love to try new techniques and my style tends to change with my moods, but I love that because it keeps everything fresh and new. Scraping, stamping and card making is my creative outlet, my "me" time, my stress reliever. I love that this obsession/craft can be all of those things but I can also preserve our family memories at the same time. My son is the main subject of my pages but I am trying to scrap more of my husband and myself so that Patrick will be able to know "who" we are as well. We all know kids don't pay attention to the details until later in life...lol.

I am so excited to be on the CAS-tastic Wednesday team and I look forward to sharing my work with you.

oh and me (Angie Cortes)

Hi everyone, my name is Angie Cortes. I live in Ohio with my amazing husband of 12 years, Rich, who I met and married in Korea while we were both serving in the United States Army. We have two wonderful children Devin (11) and Alexis (10).

I started scrapbooking soon after my son was born and loved it. I have only been stamping and cardmaking for about a year. A good friend took me to a Stampin’ Up! Workshop and I was instantly hooked. I really love clean and simple cards and all things digital!
